I miss you too,

Things changed so fast its hard to keep track of the emotions

I never wanted to leave that space we created for each other

we needed each other we built so many fruitful memories

we created a safe place for others around us

some memories are built to last and others are deemed to stay in the past

we met at a time that was inconvenient for us both

but we hung on to the flowers in the planters

I felt untouchable when in your presence

you challenged me at every turn that in which helped me grow

we debated every topic until each perspective was heard and valued

rather than being right or wrong we could fell whole

I miss the smiles we shared getting to know each other

butting heads slowing tearing back the layers

I really believe you made me a softer person

We helped each other become slower to anger

We were the ultimate duo

The fact that we can visit whenever makes me feel hopeful for the future

The reality is that we need to be apart for each of us to grow

I’ll always miss you and i hope you never forget me

I hope we grow to accept that we met at an invaluable time, I’ll love you forever
