Smile

I find it harder and harder to create

Even more difficult to reparate

Some say it comes with time

Other say its better than shame

Living day to day feels like I’m only here to hate

Darker days are ahead but my feelings are quate

Depression seeps in, only around to show face

Motivation dwindles low it pains me to take this pace

I can’t keep this up I wasn’t trained for this race

I’m cultivated as a man but i much rather play in the sand

This sandbox of time has me believing all will be fine

But im drowning in doubt maybe this isn’t all sublime

It’s difficult to look towards the sky when it’s grayer than my mind

I thought i was destined to be great I’m feeling like an average joe

I can’t make up my dreams to fit into my goals

The values I cherished as a kid evaporated with the rage

The feelings of being alone took it’s place even though I’m surrounded by people at every which way

I can’t imagine what it’s like to be filled with joy

Are you honestly ecstatic when you purchase a new toy

Do you really take a run when you’re fresh out of a snore

Are you really swimming in the ocean and lying on the sandy shore

Maybe I don’t know how to have fun

Maybe I’m too focused on finding myself

What I’m certain about is that our world is getting destroyed in more ways then one

On average 56 million people die a year

Approx. 4.5 million people died from a respiratory infection in a little over a year with 215 million affected

The last president of the one of the greatest nations on earth almost forced a world war for fun

We are contaminating our water ways with trash and plastic

We have mounds of plastic waste spread all over the world, about 242 tonnes of waste

Approx. 690 million people are undernourished

Approx. 9.2% of the world lives in poverty (around 689 million people)

1 in 4 people have a mental illness equating to about 13% of the world population

People are willing to be crushed by airplane rotors to escape their county

Weather Calamity has become the norm

Global warming is the fault of the wealthy trying to become even more wealthy

750,000 people die a year from drug-related incidents

Multiple nations are building and testing nuclear weapons which will have lasting effects on our atmosphere

These are only some of the things happening in our world

We are so small but we have such huge problems

Situations change, people change for the best and the worst but you can’t only live in the darkness

Change your perspective and you’ll develop a fulfilling life
